Send photos
Whatever you can manage on a phone. Clear enough to see the piece — and a shot of any stamp inside a ring band or on a clasp is worth more than a perfect photograph of the front.
You don’t need to know what you have. Working that out is our job.
Get a price range
We provide a $ range, not a single number. A photograph only tells us so much, and we’d rather be honest about that than quote a figure we might have to walk back.
We’ll tell you what’s driving it: the metal weight, the stone’s likely grade, the current market, and what similar pieces are actually selling for. You should understand the number.
Schedule an appointment
North Dallas, by appointment. Bring the piece and photo ID. Formal identification is required.
We look at it together under proper light and magnification — you see what Gadi sees. Then a firm offer. Take it or don’t; there’s no pitch and no pressure. Plenty of people leave with the piece and a much better idea of what it’s worth, and that’s a fine outcome.
Decide whether to sell
Review the offer and payment details with Gadi before deciding. Payment is usually by check, with wire transfers for larger amounts. We do not pay in cash. There’s no obligation to accept.
Need a formal appraisal?
The verbal estimate is free. A formal appraisal is a separate paid service. Formal jewelry appraisals typically cost around $150 per item; watch appraisals are around $200 per item. Pricing differs for items valued above $50,000. Contact Gadi to discuss the item and fee.
If we’re not the right buyer
It happens. Some pieces belong at auction, some are worth more to a collector, and some are worth more than the sum of their parts and shouldn’t be broken up at all.
We’ll say so, and tell you where to go instead. We’d rather be the person you trusted than the person who bought it cheap.
